Australia & Great Barrier Reef


The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest system of coral reefs and consists of more than 2.900 individual reefs and 900 islands that stretch for more than 2.300 kilometers, an area of about 344.400 square kilometers and can be seen from space. It is located in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland, Australia. The biggest unique structure of living organisms and is made up of billions of tiny organisms called coral polyps.
